Website Targets Minorities In Turkey
A written inquiry has been submitted to Parliament concerning a website that targets non-Muslim minority groups in Turkey by publishing telephone numbers and full addresses of many Armenian, Jewish and Greek schools, places of worship and publishing houses.
CHP MP Yilmaz Ates brought the issue to the attention of Parliament and emphasized that the accessible-to-all website should be taken down immediately. The website www.tennet.8m.com provides information on how to make various types of bombs using various materials, how to make and use Molotof cocktail bombs, information about various firearms and tips for ways of conduct in case of capture and detention [by the police]. It also gives detailed information on how and when to attack a building and encourages sharing of opinions in the website's chat room.
According to the site, the targets are Armenians, Jews, Assyrians and Association of Ataturkist Thought (ADD) that supports the vision and reforms of Turkey's founder, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
Following media reports, the website has become unaccessable.
